Asianet News Network chief executive and board member Abhinav Khare has resigned after four years with the organization. According to some sources, Khare is committed to exploring the technical space and has initial plans to build his AI. A source close to the development said Khare had resigned, but the board had not yet approved his resignation. Asianet appointed Asianet as the CEO in 2017.
He formed and led a team of 2000 professional artists, media, and online practitioners on a digital news platform with 75M MAU and 1.4B Monthly PVs supported by leading broadcast media, print, and radio stations. Khare manages various media outlets such as Suvarna News, Kannada Prabha, Radio Indigo, and others.

In 2019, Khare took Asianet as the chief executive officer. Under his leadership, the income of the group jumped to Rs 313 crores from Rs 162 crores. EBIDTA from – Rs 2.4 crores to + Rs75 crores. The platform road saw a growth of 75million MAUs from one million MAUs.
